Infrastructure
Nebius's footprint is anchored in Europe but expanding into the US. The infrastructure quality reflects the Yandex engineering heritage — operationally strong, well-engineered, comparable to other top-tier neoclouds.
European footprint
Nebius's primary datacenter footprint is in Europe, with sites including Finland and other locations chosen for energy availability and cooling efficiency.
European anchoring is strategic: it gives Nebius data-residency credentials that matter for EU enterprise customers and aligns the company with the broader European AI sovereignty conversation.
US expansion
Nebius has expanded into US datacenters through 2024-2026 to support US customer commitments (Microsoft and others). The US footprint supplements the European base.
GPU mix
- H100 / H200: substantial deployment.
- Blackwell (B100, B200, GB200): aggressive deployment as allocation arrives.
- NVIDIA reference architecture configurations including the GB200 NVL72 systems for large training clusters.
- Some A100 legacy.
The GPU mix matches what other top-tier neoclouds run. The NVIDIA strategic relationship supports allocation.
Network fabric
InfiniBand-based cluster fabric supporting multi-thousand-GPU training cluster sizes. NVIDIA reference designs throughout. The engineering quality of the network deployment is one of the technical strengths Nebius leverages.
Scaling pace
Scaling pace through 2024-2026 has been aggressive — multiple new sites, large GPU procurement, customer-commitment-driven capacity additions.
Takeaway
Nebius's infrastructure is comparable in quality to other Gold-tier neoclouds with the distinctive European anchor. The next chapter looks at the product surface.
